WELCOME
UNDER THE FORMATION OF COMMUNITY WORKER DESMOND CROCKWELL, YOUTHVISION PROMOTIONS STARTED OUT AS AN INFORMAL GATHERING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE COTTAGE HILL AREA, OF HAMILTON PARISH. THESE SOCIAL GATHERINGS THEN GREW TO FORM THE NUCLEUS OF BAILEY'S BAY CRICKET CLUB'S YOUTH PROGRAM IN THE EARLY 2000'S.
MR. CROCKWELL THEN WENT ON TO PLAN AND PROMOTE COMMUNITY-FOCUSED EVENTS IN THE AREA, WHICH STRETCHED OUT TO OTHER PARTS OF THE ISLAND.
COLLABORATING WITH OTHER COMMUNITY WORKERS, MR. CROCKWELL ALSO PLANNED CRICKET EXHIBITIONS, SUMMER AND WINTER CAMPS, MENTORSHIP INITIATIVES, DISCOUNT CARDS FOR PARENTS AND OTHER PROGRAMS, ACTIVITIES, AND EVENTS.
YOUTHVISION PROMOTIONS WAS FORMALLY LICENSED AS A COMPANY IN 2016 AND HAS FOCUSED THE ENERGY ON PUBLISHING BERMUDA'S FIRST EXCLUSIVE ANTI-VIOLENCE MAGAZINE VISIONZ
VISIONZ MAGAZINE was published in order to give people a platform to speak about anti-violence in Bermuda. It has featured opinions, concerns, and experiences from professional and well as personal point of views...

DESMOND CROCKWELL
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Over 20 years ago, Desmond started his journey of working with at-risk young people. This included working at the Hamilton and St. George's Community Centers and the former Sunshine League. He was also selected as Bermuda's delegate at the Commonwealth Youth Forum (Uganda, Africa), in 2007.
Desmond was the Youth Director at Bailey's Bay Cricket Club for 8 years and sat on the Board of Directors for the Child Care Replacement Board. Desmond's extensive experience and passion for working with at-risk youth is evident in his work
He is also the proud father of one son, Desmond jr.
